This is a really good instructional video. Thank you for putting this together. I live in coastal VA and have been searching for a boat for crabbing/inshore fishing and I think the Hobie Pro Angler just might be the ticket. This video will come in handy when I set it up.

Can you please provide which batteries you used for each of those setups (GPS and live well)? I'm getting ready to setup a new ProAngler 17T and want to steal some of your great ideas. I just can't seem to find those particular batteries that fit in those clear boxes you're using. Thanks in advance.

PS -I subscribed a few days ago. Great stuff. I'm a perfectionist and want everything to look factory and this has been a big help. Can you recommend a good through-hull power connector? For my PA 17, because the seating configuration can change, I'm going to have multiple plug-in locations for the same equipment but going to the same battery. For instance, I'm going to need a front plug and middle plug for the trolling motor setup. I want to have a through hull connector at each location to plug into. Your advice is appreciated.

Running the two 6 volt batteries in Parallel will still only give you 6 volts. To get 12 volts you have to run them in series.

Jeff says:

Were do you mount the batteries?

Zach Moore says:

I went and checked these boxes out at Home Depot . But my battery is to large for it

Kevin Olson says:

Where can i find a bait well like this?

Gabe Abeyta says:

how to run the batteries in a series parallel

Gabe Abeyta says:

hello I was wondering how you wired the batteries together thanks gabe

Ethan Garcia says:

How's it going? I was wondering what are the measurements on that husky box for the fishfinder and gps? Thanks for the great video.

Hi Brian-I found the you-tube instruction on the waterproof pins. Did you use the special tool that was shown, or did you make shift a crimper? As I am writing this I see that you responded. You are awesome. Thank you.

Mark Hanna says:

Hi-I just received my water proof plugs for a battery box, and like you said they came in pieces. I am not sure how these things go together. Can you get me started? Where do the little silver contact pins go, and were do the little yellow plugs go, and do the red plastic parts get used? Thank you. Mark

Glenn Kramer says:

Excellent video! Very helpful. I am about to order materials to build the same bait well. I have a few questions:
1) What gauge wire did you use?
2) The connector plug link shows they are no longer available. Can you suggest another alternative?
Keep up the great work!
